Jambo YaYa asked a question about readings to which I do not think there is an easy answer -- too many variables!

In my opinion, sometimes readings can be a tricky thing!  What I mean is:  First of all - in getting a reading, if you get something "negative" predicted and you change it, then you have changed your destiny, right?  So that changes your future.  So that changes the reading. you literally changed your (or someone else's) future.  To me, there is no point in getting a reading without the ability to change one's destiny.  I don't think Free Will really enters into it.  You find out information and if you don't like it, then you set out to change it.

Second - who did the reading and what kind of reading.  The reason I mention this is because I don't think there is a good "blanket" answer to your question.  If the reading was a classic "psychic" one then that brings one guide of guidance, tarot brings another, a spiritually guided reading with me brings another... and so on.

However, I do think that getting readings can be especially useful in cases where you might know what is going on with your HD, have little or no contact, and don't know how the spell work is affecting them.  Then a reading can be a useful tool to find some of those things out.

As always, my opinion about readings is that they are useful but not the end all/be all to deciding what to do next in your life.  Any and every reader, including myself, is subject to the error of human interpretation.  So be sure that you use more than just getting a reading when deciding what to do next.
Love,
Mambo Sam
