Hey Folks,

Don't forget that St. Patrick's Day is coming and that's a very special day for Damballah, the father of all lwa.  You can read all about it in my new blog entry.

Alright, Sweetie Pie...here ya go.

I want to make a little altar for him too, what are the things I could include other than white food and drinks, and a white candle???? Anything else that he likes???? I looked in the files and nothing...

>>Since he is synchronized with St. Patrick, get a picture of St. Patrick for your Damballah altar (hint, hint:  there's one on my blog you can print out).   Also, you can get some St. Patrick's Day decorations for him! They are in all the stores right now and even on sale in some places!

I have the money kit, not the LOL... Can I start that one instead???

>>Weeeeeell, not that the Big Money spell kit isn't a good one, because it is!  However, in that spell you ask for the help of Capitaine Agour or Agwe.  When casting the Lots A Luck spell you ask for help from Damballah, which is why that is so perfect to cast at this time of year.  Now, having said that, the Lots A Luck is a recommended follow up to the Big Money spell, so you might want to cast both!

Also, now that I'm at it I have another question... I read in the old forum about a bath done to get out of an unhealthy relationship, I can't find it now... It called for Florida Water... (By the way, where can I find Florida water? what is it?) Sorry if that question should be asked to tech support... I will if I have to...

>>I think you might be referring to the Milk of Damballah White Bath (http://www.spellmaker.com/cleanseyou.htm), which can be used to heal, cleanse and comfort, so it would be a very good bath to use for getting rid of the "stuff" you might be holding on to from an unhealthy relationship.  Now as far as Florida Water, it is a mixture of essential oils, water and alcohol commonly used during rituals for spiritual cleansing and purification.  If you have ever been to a lave tet or for anyone who came to the convention and you watched one of the family members pour something on to our hands and rub them together before beginning a ritual or blessing, that was Florida Water (It also smells great!).  I think we have some that you can purchase from Spellmaker, but I'm not sure about that.  To find out, you can write to Berk.  She would be the keeper of the Florida Water.  lol

I hope that helps, Darlin'!

Hey Hon,

See answers below...

So, what would be THE day to honor Damballah this year???

>>Since the Vatican has a mind of its own (heehee), I would say to either honor him both days or go with the 17thOr honor him the 15th, 16th, and 17th and make it a Damballah Three Day Extravaganza!!  YIPPPPEEEEE!!!

Actually, no it's not the white bath... It was another one, I'll try to find it in the old files... And I opened today the white bath I got on Monday and it has Florida Water inside!!!!

>>Yep, it certainly does!!  I hope you enjoy the white bath.  ITS SO FRICKIN' AWESOME!!...er, ahem...I mean, you should really like the white bath.  It's quite lovely  heehee

Me again... I think it was a bath for Erzulie Dantor that could be made at home! I might be wrong...

>>Hmmmmm, I'm not familiar with the bath you are referring to, but it makes sense that it would be a bath dedicated to Erzulie Dantor.  She is always good to call on when there is an abusive relationship involved, especially if women or children are being abused.  You just gotta love her!!

Anything else, Darlin'?
